Light Bulbs and Scissors
Two similar life lessons I learned
The goal is not to get new light bulbs; it is to illuminate the kitchen. Therefore, it is fine to take off the mostly unused lightbulbs from the basement to use in the kitchen.
The goal is not to find a pair of scissors; it is to open the pack of snacks. Therefore, it is fine to go for the paper cutter in the printer room.
Free your mind from what the apparent objective is, and think about the “why”.
